How often do doodles need to be groomed?

Poodles have hair, not fur, and Doodles are just the same, which means that shedding is minimal. The downside of that however is that they need to be brushed a few times a week at minimum and clipped every 6-12 weeks depending in your personal preference.

Do doodles shed?

Our Doodles are generally low-non shedding. We cannot guarantee any dog to be hypoallergenic or non-shedding as each coat can vary. Generally, you wont find much hair in your house or on your clothes but Doodle dust bunnies are common on the floors every now and then, and some hair will come out when you brush, just as it would when you brush your own head of hair.

Are doodles hypoallergenic?

Although there is no such thing as ‘hypoallergenic’, Doodles do tend to be more allergy-friendly. Most people with allergies to dander (those who experience sneezing and watery eyes) tend to be fine with Doodles. However, if you are allergic to dog saliva (you break out in hives if a dog licks you), you will likely be allergic to Doodles as well.

That being said, typically, the curlier the coat, the less it will shed and be better for allergies. So if you have mild to moderate dander allergies, you will likely be comfortable with a wavy coated Doodle, but if you have more server allergies, a curly coat is your best bet.

Are your dogs health tested?

Yes. All of our parent dogs are health tested and results can be viewed by selecting the name of each, either under the ‘upcoming litters’ or ‘previous litters’ tab.

What will my puppy come home with?

Each puppy will come home dewormed, microchipped, vaccinated, and with a one year health guarantee.
